The Mid-America League was another small independent league that popped up in the mid-1990s and quickly faded away. The league fielded four Indiana-based teams and played only one season, 1995 (making the “Inaugural Season” stamped on this ball somewhat ironic). It was rechristened the Heartland League in 1996, and folded for good after the 1998 season.
