Wisconsin State League

There were two iterations of the Wisconsin State League. The first began play in 1905 as an affiliated Class D league. It was renamed to the Wisconsin-Illinois League in 1908 and folded after the 1914 season. The WSL name was resurrected in 1940 for another Class D league. The league shut down from 1943-1945 for WWII, then played from 1946 through 1953.
