The Pecos League, headquarted in Houston, was founded in 2011. Andrew Dunn is the league founder and commissioner.
The league has been quite innovative when it comes to its baseballs. Since 2012 most teams use their own home baseballs, complete with colored stitching and the team logo.

Due to Rawlings production issues, the league used these balls for the first two weeks of the 2014 season. They were purchased as practice balls, which is why they don’t have the Rawlings logo on the north panel.
